Last updated: November 25, 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CobuTV (“CobuTV,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing, installing, or using the CobuTV platform, website, applications, or any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.
2. Eligibility
Use of the Service is limited to individuals who are at least 13 years of age or the minimum legal age in their jurisdiction. By using the Service, you affirm that you meet eligibility requirements and possess the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
3. Description of the Service
CobuTV provides free, ad-supported streaming television channels, on-demand content, curated programming, and associated digital services. The Service may include linear FAST channels, audio-visual content, promotional segments, and partner-supplied programming. CobuTV reserves the right to update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the Service at any time without notice.
4. User Accounts
Certain features of the Service may require the creation of a user account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information;
- Maintain the confidentiality of your credentials;
- Accept responsibility for all activities conducted under your account.
CobuTV may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in unauthorized activity.
5. CobuTV Limited License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms of Use, CobuTV grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license, with no right to sublicense, to access and use the CobuTV Services as intended. This includes:
- Accessing and viewing (i) User Content and (ii) Content on a streaming-only basis, and
- Accessing, using, and/or participating in any available features or activities, all solely for your personal, non-commercial use as outlined in these Terms of Use.
Content made available through the CobuTV Services may be accessed and viewed only for lawful and permitted personal, non-commercial purposes, and only as enabled by CobuTV.
6. CobuTV Applications
Subject to your compliance with these Terms of Use, CobuTV grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license, with no right to sublicense, to download and install one copy of the Apps on a consumer electronic device you own or control (e.g., mobile phone, tablet, television, or computer), and to use that copy solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may create a single backup or archival copy of the Apps, but may not otherwise copy them. Except as expressly permitted in these Terms of Use, you may not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Apps;
- Distribute, transfer, sublicense, lease, lend, or rent the Apps to any third party;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Apps; or
- Make the functionality of the Apps available to multiple users by any means.
CobuTV retains all rights in and to the Apps not expressly granted under these Terms of Use.
7. Restrictions on Use of Services and Content
You may only access and view Content for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms of Use. You may not, directly or through any device, software, service, or other means:
- Remove, alter, bypass, interfere with, or circumvent any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices on the Content, the CobuTV Services, or any digital rights management or content protection mechanism (including geo-filtering technologies);
- Access or use the CobuTV Services or Content from territories where CobuTV does not hold rights or does not offer the Services;
- Copy, download, stream-capture, reproduce, duplicate, archive, distribute, upload, publish, modify, translate, broadcast, perform, display, sell, or transmit the Content except as expressly authorized.
Additionally, you are prohibited from transmitting, retransmitting, or otherwise distributing the CobuTV Services or Content through any means or method not expressly authorized by CobuTV in writing. You may not incorporate, embed, or otherwise make the Content available through any third-party application, service, or platform, including through framing, inline linking, or similar technological means, without CobuTV’s prior written consent. You may not create, compile, or distribute (whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes) any index, catalog, or database that includes any portion of the Content unless expressly authorized by CobuTV in writing.
You further agree that you will not develop, build, promote, or commercialize any product, service, business, or offering—whether for profit or otherwise—that is based on, derived from, or utilizes any portion of the CobuTV Services or Content. This includes, but is not limited to, creating derivative works such as mash-ups, compilations, montages, artwork, merchandise, wallpapers, themes, greeting cards, or any other materials that incorporate or are based in whole or in part on the Content or CobuTV Services, unless CobuTV has provided prior express written authorization. These restrictions apply regardless of whether such derivative materials are distributed for free or for any commercial purpose.
8. Advertising and Ad Delivery Partners
The Service is supported by advertising. By using the Service, you consent to the display and delivery of advertisements, which may include audio-visual ads, overlays, banners, mid-roll segments, product placements, branded integrations, and other commercial units.
CobuTV may partner with third-party advertising networks, demand-side platforms, measurement firms, and attribution partners. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Advertisements may be tailored based on technical information, general viewing patterns, or non-personally identifiable data.
- CobuTV is not responsible for the legality, quality, or accuracy of advertised products or services.
- Third-party ad partners may use tracking technologies in accordance with their own policies.
9. Content Partners and Licensing
CobuTV may host, distribute, or broadcast content provided by third-party licensors, production companies, creators, studios, and distribution partners (collectively, “Content Partners”).
By supplying content to CobuTV, Content Partners grant CobuTV the necessary rights to host, stream, distribute, encode, promote, and monetize such content through the Service. These rights are governed by separate written agreements between CobuTV and each Content Partner.
CobuTV does not guarantee the availability of any specific partner content and may add, remove, or modify programming based on licensing arrangements or operational requirements.
10. Platform Distribution
CobuTV may distribute its programming across third-party devices, smart TVs, FAST aggregators, streaming platforms, mobile applications, and partner-operated environments (“Distribution Platforms”).
By using the Service through a Distribution Platform, you may be subject to additional platform-specific terms, including those imposed by device manufacturers, app stores, and operating system providers. CobuTV is not responsible for outages, restrictions, or limitations caused by third-party platforms.
11. Intellectual Property
All materials available through the Service—including audio-visual content, trademarks, logos, software, text, designs, and metadata—are exclusively owned or licensed by CobuTV. You may not reproduce, modify, publicly display, transmit, distribute, or exploit any portion of the Service without express written permission.
Unauthorized use may result in civil or criminal liability.
12. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers;
- Modify, reverse-engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service;

- Circumvent digital rights management, geo-fencing, or access controls.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may contain links or integrations to third-party websites, applications, or services. CobuTV is not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of third-party providers. Accessing third-party resources is at your own risk.
14. Content Availability
Availability of content may vary based on licensing, territory, device, and technical factors. CobuTV does not guarantee uninterrupted access or the continued availability of any specific program, channel, or feature.
15. DMCA & Copyright Policy
CobuTV respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users, partners, and third parties to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), CobuTV has adopted the following policy for addressing claims of copyright infringement.

Any person who knowingly misrepresents that content is infringing or that removed content was removed by mistake may be liable for damages, including attorneys’ fees, under the DMCA.
Your use of the Service is also governed by the CobuTV Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference.
16. Trademarks Policy
All trademarks, service marks, logos, trade names, and branding appearing on the CobuTV Service (collectively, “CobuTV Marks”) are the property of CobuTV or its licensors. Unauthorized use of the CobuTV Marks is strictly prohibited.

CobuTV reserves the right, but is not obligated, to monitor, remove, or restrict User Content at its discretion. CobuTV assumes no liability for any User Content submitted by users. Users are solely responsible for their own submissions and any consequences resulting from their publication.
18. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. CobuTV disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.
